Humanity Beacon collects only the information needed to operate the newsroom, deliver subscriptions, receive story leads, secure administrator access, and connect authorized publishing accounts.
Information you provide
Newsletter subscriptions may include an email address. Story submissions may include a name, email address, location, story details, and source links. Administrator accounts are handled through Supabase authentication.
OAuth connections are authorized on the platform’s own login page. Humanity Beacon does not receive your Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Google, YouTube, or TikTok password.
How information is used
Information is used to verify story leads, deliver requested email, operate the approval queue, publish approved material, prevent abuse, and maintain an activity record.
OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted before storage and are used only for the publishing actions you approve.
Sharing and retention
Humanity Beacon does not sell personal information. Service providers may process data only as needed to host the website, database, email, or official platform connection.
You may request correction or deletion of a story submission or unsubscribe from email through the published contact channel.
